Description
A creamy, nostalgic Amish dessert made with simple pantry ingredients like peanut butter, cream cheese, and whipped topping. Perfect for gatherings or just a comforting treat.
Ingredients
1 pre-baked pie crust (graham cracker or pastry)
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream or whipped topping
1 package instant vanilla pudding (optional)
1½ cups milk (for pudding)
Peanut butter crumble (½ cup peanut butter + ½ cup powdered sugar)
Instructions
1. Prepare crust: Use a store-bought or homemade graham cracker crust. Chill or bake it, then set aside.
2. Make vanilla pudding (if using): Whisk pudding mix with milk. Chill until thickened.
3. Beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
4. Add peanut butter and mix until fully incorporated.
5. Gradually blend in powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
6. Fold in whipped cream or topping gently.
7. If using pudding, layer it at the bottom of the pie crust first.
8. Spread peanut butter filling evenly over the pudding.
9. Top with peanut butter crumble and optional chocolate drizzle.
10. Chill for at least 2–4 hours until set.
11. Slice and serve with additional whipped cream if desired.
Notes
Use crunchy peanut butter for extra texture.
Substitute non-dairy milk and vegan cream cheese for a plant-based version.
Wrap tightly and refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days.
