Description
This Cajun Shrimp and Salmon is bold, buttery, and packed with smoky Southern flavor, all made in one skillet for an easy dinner.
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 1/2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Pat the salmon and shrimp dry with paper towels.
2. In a small bowl, mix Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
3. Rub the salmon and shrimp evenly with the seasoning blend.
4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add salmon and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until flaky. Remove and set aside.
5. In the same skillet, melt butter and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
6. Return salmon to the skillet, drizzle with lemon juice, and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra richness, spoon some of the buttery pan sauce over the seafood just before serving.
