Cheeseburger Sliders with Special Sauce

These cheeseburger sliders are warm, melty, and perfect for sharing. Soft buns, juicy beef patties, and a creamy special sauce make them feel extra cozy without being complicated. They’re easy enough for a weeknight and fun enough for game day.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices American cheese, halved
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

Special Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and black pepper. Press evenly into the prepared dish.
  3. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until beef is cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, chopped pickles, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Cut slider buns in half horizontally and place bottom halves in the baking dish. Spread special sauce over buns.
  6. Add cooked beef, cheese slices, and pickle slices. Place top buns on.
  7. Brush tops with melted butter and bake uncovered for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and buns are lightly golden.

Tip

Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before cutting to keep everything neat and melty.

Serve these sliders fresh and warm, and don’t forget extra sauce on the side for dipping.
