Description
A warm, creamy cheesy taco dip with beef that’s perfect for parties, game nights, and easy sharing.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup diced tomatoes, drained
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
3. Stir in the taco seasoning according to the packet directions, then remove from heat.
4. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Spread evenly into an 8×8-inch baking dish.
5. Spoon the seasoned beef over the cream cheese layer, then sprinkle with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
6. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
7. Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes and green onions. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
Let the dip rest for 5 minutes after baking for easier scooping and extra creaminess.
