Description
Cozy holiday stuffed mushrooms baked until golden.
Ingredients
16 large white mushrooms, stems removed and finely chopped
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/3 cup finely diced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2–3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Sauté the chopped mushroom stems, butter, onion, and garlic over medium heat until soft.
3. Stir in breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
4. Spoon the filling into each mushroom cap and arrange on the baking sheet.
5. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and bake 18-20 minutes, until golden on top.
6. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Add red pepper flakes or seasoned breadcrumbs for extra flavor.
