Description
Creamy ranch chicken breast cooked in a simple skillet sauce that’s rich, comforting, and perfect for easy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
1 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season evenly with the dry ranch seasoning mix.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 4-5 minutes per side until lightly golden.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring gently to combine.
5. Simmer uncovered for 10-12 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens slightly.
6. Sprinkle with black pepper, spoon sauce over the chicken, and remove from heat.
Notes
If the sauce thickens too much, stir in a splash of warm chicken broth just before serving.
