Crispy baked chicken wings tossed in buttery garlic parmesan sauce for an easy, comforting meal.
Ingredients
2 lb chicken wings, split and tips removed
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a large baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top and lightly spray with oil.
2. Pat chicken wings very dry with paper towels and place in a large bowl.
3. Toss wings with baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack and bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.
5. While wings bake, mix melted butter and minced garlic in a large bowl.
6. Add hot wings to the bowl, toss with garlic butter, Parmesan cheese, and parsley until well coated. Serve warm.
Notes
Let wings rest 5 minutes before saucing for maximum crispiness.
