Goat Cheese & Fig Jam Canapés

Description

Cozy fall canapés made with crisp baguette slices, creamy goat cheese, and warm fig jam.


Ingredients

Scale

1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds

2 tbsp olive oil

6 oz goat cheese, softened

1/3 cup fig jam

2 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary

2 tbsp chopped toasted walnuts (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet.

2. Brush each slice with olive oil and bake 8-10 minutes until lightly crisp.

3. Spread a small amount of softened goat cheese on each warm toast.

4. Spoon a little fig jam over the cheese.

5. Sprinkle with rosemary and, if using, toasted walnuts.

6. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Warm the fig jam slightly so it spreads more easily.
