Description

Sweet, creamy goat cheese baked in crisp phyllo cups and finished with honey for an easy Valentine’s appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale

15 frozen phyllo cups

6 oz goat cheese, softened

3 tbsp honey, plus more for drizzling

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup chopped pistachios or pecans

Pinch of sea salt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and place phyllo cups on a baking sheet.

2. In a bowl, mix goat cheese, honey, vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth.

3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into each phyllo cup.

4. Sprinkle chopped pistachios or pecans over the tops.

5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until warm and lightly golden.

6. Drizzle with additional honey just before serving.

Notes

Serve warm for best texture and flavor. Optional garnish with flaky sea salt or dried rose petals.
