Description
This Lean Beef Patty Nude is a healthy, bun-free burger that’s packed with protein and perfect for low-carb, keto, paleo, and clean-eating lifestyles. It’s juicy, flavorful, and totally customizable.
Ingredients
500 g (1.1 lb) extra-lean ground beef (90/10 or 95/5)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1 large egg (or 1 tbsp almond/oat flour)
Optional: 2 tbsp grated zucchini, squeezed dry
Optional fresh herbs (parsley, chives, cilantro)
Avocado slices, tomato rings, mustard or sugar-free ketchup, butter lettuce for serving
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and your chosen binder.
2. Mix gently with your hands until combined. Fold in optional grated zucchini or herbs.
3. Divide the mixture into 4 even portions (about 125 g each). Form into patties and create a small indentation in the center of each.
4. Refrigerate the patties on a parchment-lined tray for 15-20 minutes.
5. Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface.
6. Cook patties 3-4 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
8. Serve on butter lettuce leaves and top with avocado, tomato, and condiments of choice.
Notes
Do not press patties while cooking, as this squeezes out moisture.
To batch prep: flash-freeze raw patties for 1 hour, then transfer to zip-top bags for later use.
Alternate methods: Bake at 425°F for 12 min or air-fry at 390°F for 10 min, flipping once.
