Description
Easy baked pizza pinwheels made with crescent dough, sausage, and melty mozzarella cheese.
Ingredients
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup cooked beef or turkey sausage, crumbled
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Unroll crescent dough into one large rectangle and press seams together.
3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
4. Sprinkle sausage, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder evenly on top.
5. Starting from the long edge, roll dough tightly into a log.
6. Slice into 1-inch pinwheels and place cut-side up on the baking sheet.
7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
Chill the rolled dough briefly before slicing for cleaner cuts.
