Description

Crispy savory palmiers made with puff pastry and Parmesan, perfect for easy snacks or entertaining.


Ingredients

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning

1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Unfold the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and gently roll to smooth seams.

3. Brush the pastry evenly with melted butter.

4. Sprinkle Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper evenly over the surface.

5. Starting from both long sides, tightly roll inward until the rolls meet in the center.

6. Slice into 1/2-inch pieces and place cut-side up on the baking sheet.

7. Bake for 14-16 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crisp. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crisp edges, chill the sliced palmiers for 10 minutes before baking.
