Description

Easy one-pan skillet chicken breast cooked in bite-size pieces with crisp-tender green beans for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add chicken pieces, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned.

3. Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

4. Add green beans to the skillet and stir to combine.

5. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and green beans are crisp-tender.

6. Stir in butter and lemon juice, then remove from heat and serve warm.

Notes

Cutting the chicken into even bite-size pieces helps it cook quickly and stay juicy in the skillet.
