Description

Creamy avocado, smoked salmon, and crisp baguette slices make these easy crostini perfect for brunch or entertaining.


Ingredients

1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds

2 tbsp olive oil

2 ripe avocados

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

4 oz smoked salmon

2 tbsp cream cheese, softened

1 tbsp chopped fresh dill


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet.

2. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil and bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crisp.

3. In a small bowl, mash avocados with lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until mostly smooth.

4. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese onto each toasted baguette slice.

5. Spoon avocado mixture evenly over the cream cheese.

6. Top with smoked salmon and finish with a sprinkle of fresh dill.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture.

Avocado mixture can be prepped ahead with plastic wrap pressed on top.
