Description
Sweet pears, creamy blue cheese, and savory smoked turkey come together in an easy fall appetizer.
Ingredients
2 ripe pears, cored and sliced into 12 wedges
4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
12 thin slices smoked turkey
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme (optional)
Instructions
1. Arrange the pear wedges on a board and gently press a small amount of blue cheese onto each slice.
2. Wrap each pear wedge with a slice of smoked turkey, tucking the ends underneath.
3. Place the wrapped pears on a serving plate and drizzle lightly with honey.
4. Sprinkle with fresh thyme if desired and serve immediately.

Choose pears that are ripe but still firm so the slices hold their shape.
