Strawberry Cream Roll-Ups

Ingredients

  • 6 slices white sandwich bread, crusts removed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped fresh strawberries
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread into a thin rectangle.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
  4. Spread a thin layer of strawberry cream filling over each bread slice.
  5. Roll each slice up tightly and brush the outside with melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle evenly with granulated sugar.
  7. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook roll-ups, turning gently, for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.

Tip

Chill the filled roll-ups for 10 minutes before cooking if you want extra clean, neat spirals.
