Description

Classic Italian-style Wagyu meatballs that are juicy, herb-infused, and simmered in rich tomato sauce. Perfect for pasta night or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground Wagyu beef (70-80% lean)

1/3 cup minced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup Panko or Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or basil

1 egg

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for searing

2 cups tomato sauce

Instructions

1. In a bowl, gently mix Wagyu beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, herbs, egg, salt, and pepper.

2. Form the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the meatballs on all sides until golden.

4. Transfer meatballs to a simmering pot of tomato sauce.

5. Simmer for 20-30 minutes until cooked through.

6. Serve with pasta, topped with fresh basil and extra Parmesan.

Notes

Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender.

Use a cookie scoop for even portions.

Make a double batch and freeze extras before cooking.
