Classic Italian-style Wagyu meatballs that are juicy, herb-infused, and simmered in rich tomato sauce. Perfect for pasta night or meal prep.
Ingredients
1 lb ground Wagyu beef (70-80% lean)
1/3 cup minced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup Panko or Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or basil
1 egg
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for searing
2 cups tomato sauce
Instructions
1. In a bowl, gently mix Wagyu beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, herbs, egg, salt, and pepper.
2. Form the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the meatballs on all sides until golden.
4. Transfer meatballs to a simmering pot of tomato sauce.
5. Simmer for 20-30 minutes until cooked through.
6. Serve with pasta, topped with fresh basil and extra Parmesan.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender.
Use a cookie scoop for even portions.
Make a double batch and freeze extras before cooking.
